All Jr High activities for today Thursday, March 12th after school have been cancelled. This includes tutoring and volleyball. The volleyball game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled and there will be no practice.
The high school drama club will be presenting Alice in Wonderland on Friday, March 27th at 6:30 p.m.

Gallatin county schools will have a one hour delay due to 0-1/4 mile visibility. Students should expect their bus to be an hour later than usual. We want to keep everyone safe to do that we need daylight. Staff will need to arrive by 8:45 this morning. High school student drivers be very careful the national weather service had issued a red warning for our area.
Congratulations to all of our 8th Grade Volleyball, Cross Country, Scholar Bowl, Band, and Choir Members. They were honored last night between the JV and Varisty Volleyball matches.
State Testing starts tomorrow for grade 5 and grade 6. These tests are very important to your child and our school district. We ask our students to get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast in the morning. Grades 5 and 6 will be testing tomorrow, Friday and Monday. Elementary will begin state testing tomorrow. Grade 3 will begin with Reading tests tomorrow Thursday March 12th and Friday the 13th. 3rd grade math testing will be next week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday March 17th through the 19th.
Grade 4 will start testing in reading tomorrow March 12 and continue through Monday March 16th. Next week grade 4 will do math testing March 17th though March 19th. The teachers need their students to arrive rested and ready to do their best work on these state tests. If you have questions please call Ms Logsdon at 272-3821 extension 1308.
We were so happy to have a guest story teller come to visit us a few days ago! Her name was Mary Jo Huff and her website is storytellin.com. Grades pre-k through 1st got to participate and all seemed to really enjoy her! Thank you Brandi Respondek for getting this together for us!
Tomorrow night is 8th Grade night for Jr High Volleyball, Scholar Bowl, Cross Country, Band and Choir. Those participating 8th graders will be recognized between the JV and Varsity Volleyball matches. Also all 6th and 7th grade volleyball and scholar bowl members will receive their letters/pins tomorrow evening before the JV game at approx 6pm. Come out and join Mrs. Newton and the Jr High Girls Volleyball and help us recognize our 8th graders!

We will be having our kindergarten screenings for the 2020-2021 school year on Thursday, May 7th and Friday, May 8th, 2020. They will be held at Gallatin County Elementary school in our kindergarten class rooms. You will need to bring a certified copy of your child’s birth certificate, their social security card, an immunization record, and any dental records your child may have had. And yes, you need to bring your child too! Thank you in advance and we are excited to have your child here with us!
The Gallatin County High School Scholar Bowl Team are Regional Champs! They will be met by the firetrucks and parade through the towns starting in Equality in just a little bit. Congratulations to the team and Ms. Bean!
